Be aware of and follow all water conservation tips, as they will go a long way in helping you and others in the community. You need to observe good water use rules. Every drop counts!

  • Use a bucket instead of a hose to wash cars and water plants.

  • Reuse sink and laundry water (grey water) to water plants.

  • Water your plants in the evening when there is less evaporation.

  • Do not use running water to thaw meat or other frozen foods. Defrost food overnight in the refrigerator or use the defrost setting on your microwave.

Water conservation reduces energy consumption, water bills, and wear on the water distribution system. Conserve Water whenever possible and contribute to an improvement in the supply for everyone
